Topic Driven Concerts

Growing up is hard...and doesn't get easier. Teens need to know there is a foolproof way to overcome any obstacle: their relationship with God. Putting God at the heart of their actions NOW will help them get through all the challenges they face in the future and could save them from so much confusion, hurt, and frustration.

Through the last few years of festivals and youth concerts, Julie Elias has really treasured the time spent with students, both by seeing them engage in her music as well as conversations with them about what they are going through. There can never be enough positive influences in a teen's life, and it can be incredibly helpful to have these values reinforced by someone who isn't a parent or youth pastor. By focusing on specific topics, Topic-Driven-Concerts serve as not only a single great event but are designed to equip and inspire students long after the concert has ended!

Current Topics

The Reality of Rejection: We all feel rejected at some point in life.  But rejection is fleeting; it is not a life sentence. Our attitudes toward rejection can allow us to wallow in self-pity and despair - or inspire us to excel in ways we never dreamed of.

The Power of the Tongue: Choosing what we say is a huge responsibility. Words may be forgiven but aren't forgotten. Yet in the same way that a careless word can cause massive destruction, a kind one can build someone up or change their entire outlook.

The Value in our Choices: Every choice we make has a consequence, good or bad. We must recognize the influences behind our decisions and if the risks are truly worth the reward. HOW we make decisions can be the catalyst in making choices of value.

Beauty: Real or Fake?: There are days when even the prettiest people don't feel beautiful. With all the people, commercials, movies, websites and magazines telling you the way you should look these days doesn't help. But real beauty comes from God and shines out in WHO you are, not WHAT you look like. When it comes to beauty, who are YOU really trying to impress?

All students will receive a 16-page coor boklet that goes into more detail about the topics from a Biblical perspective, as well as free download song cad.
